The National Coordinator of Tostan Senegal, traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa to participate in a global meeting of over 90 civil society organizations from 20 countries in Africa on child marriage organized by Girls Not Brides from November 6 – 7, 2012, Khalidou Sy .
Girls maybe maybe Not Brides is a partnership of over 200 non-governmental companies (NGOs) from about the whole world aimed at child marriage that is ending.
These organizations that are highly diverse at the grassroots, regional, nationwide, and international amounts to increase awareness concerning the legal rights of girls, help victims of son or daughter wedding and mobilize support among donors and governments to assist end the training.
