C-TRAN Board approves next phase for Mill Plain Vine

The vote will let the bus that is next Transit line for Vancouver to enter the style period

VANCOUVER — C-TRAN is officially dancing to your 2nd stage in their intend to bring The Vine to Mill Plain.

At its meeting that is monthly Board of Directors unanimously authorized the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) when it comes to Mill Plain path. It will probably run from a new transportation section near 192nd, along Mill Plain, to Evergreen Boulevard to your existing Turtle destination transportation center in downtown Vancouver.

The western end of this line has generated some debate, with Vancouver City Councilor and C-TRAN board member Ty Stober saying he might have chosen an even more north positioning.

At Tuesday’s conference, Sarah Hitchcock took time during resident commentary to state she might have chosen a path along fifteenth to Washington.

“At 12th and Washington you will find four apartment that is low-income,” she pointed away, “two of which allow for seniors.”
